Overview The Project Manager has complete understanding and responsibility for the scope of work, schedule, cost, resources, quality and deliverables and must be able to communicate requirements to appropriate operations teams.
Responsibilities Act as the subject matter expert on the associated OSP projects
Create a project schedule from given project parameters
Ensure the project schedule is in line with the financial plan
Review and create invoices for all billable items
Partner with the Design Manager to create a staffing plan that is within budget
Hold project scoping meetings to identify point of contacts for permitting, engineering, and construction
Manage sub-contractors invoicing
Report project progress internally and externally
Attend all client meetings and provide updates
Develop, monitor and measure quality and production metrics
Indirectly lead teams of engineers and designers to achieve project milestones
Requirements Self-motivated candidates who have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Technologies, GIS, CAD or similar, and/or equivalent work experience with design software
Minimum 3 years of related OSP experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced AutoCAD experience is recommended
Experience in PLA (Pole Loading Analysis) software is recommended
Must have professional level experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as Adobe Acrobat (pdf) and digital photographs (jpeg)
Must be familiar with databases and the process of uploading and downloading data
Must be a great communicator, both verbal and written
Must be able to adapt to changes in scope of work and priority
Must have a dedicated space for a home office with a reliable and fast internet connection for remote work
