Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end implementation of Avaloq’s on-premise and/or BPaaS/SaaS solutions. Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading planning, execution, and management of change-the-bank projects for major global banks, coordinating with Avaloq units (Solution Architects, Consultants, Infrastructure, Support Services, Regional Banking Operations) and partners to define objectives and execute project plans.
2. Preparing project budgets and commercial proposals in collaboration with Solution Architects, Consultants, and Key Account Managers for submission and negotiation with clients.
3. Achieving project goals related to scope, quality, schedule, budget, reporting, staffing, and post-project reviews.
4. Consulting and coaching customer project teams to leverage best practices and Avaloq’s Banking Reference processes.
5. Leading multiple projects simultaneously and supporting pre-sales activities.
6. Ensuring deliverables are timely and of high quality.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a project leader in large-scale projects, especially involving standard software solutions.
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Economics, Engineering, or related field.
* Project Management certification from a recognized institution.
* Knowledge of banking operations and processes.
* Strong negotiation skills with experience engaging at steering committee level.
* Leadership experience with interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
* Persistent, assertive, and resilient with the ability to prioritize.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Nice to Have
* Experience in international change-the-bank projects.
* PMP certification.
