This person will identify and advance power opportunities, build relationships with utilities and transmission operators, and guide clients through the complex process of securing reliable and scalable electrical infrastructure. /ppThe Director, Power Utility Infrastructure operates at the intersection of data center development, utility engagement, and power infrastructure planning, helping clients identify locations with viable power capacity and develop strategies to secure power for hyperscale and AI-driven facilities. /ppThis role serves as a senior leader within the organization and is responsible for developing relationships with utilities, regulators, and infrastructure partners while advising clients on interconnection strategies, transmission infrastructure, and power delivery solutions. /ppThe Director, Power Utility Infrastructure works closely with internal development, preconstruction, design oversight, and construction management teams to ensure that power strategies are integrated into site selection, development planning, and project delivery. /ppThe ideal candidate brings deep expertise in transmission planning, utility interconnection, and large-load infrastructure development, along with strong relationships across utilities, regional transmission organizations (RTOs), and energy infrastructure stakeholders. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline /liliMaster’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred /lili15+ years of experience in power infrastructure, transmission planning, utility engagement, or energy strategy /liliExtensive experience supporting large-load infrastructure projects such as data centers, hyperscale campuses, or industrial developments /liliDeep understanding of electric power systems, transmission planning, and interconnection processes /liliExperience working with utilities, regional capacity, and utility expansion plans to inform development strategy /liliAdvise clients on power availability, interconnection pathways, and infrastructure constraints affecting potential data center sites /liliTranslate complex power system, regulatory, and market dynamics into actionable strategies for development teams and clients /li /ulh3Utility Infrastructure Engagement /h3ulliDevelop and maintain executive-level relationships with utilities, transmission operators, and regulators /liliLead engagement with utilities related to large-load service requests, interconnection strategies, development, and grid upgrades necessary to support large data center campuses /liliEvaluate transmission planning studies and interconnection queue dynamics to identify risks and opportunities for
