About the Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within the Finance Department, the Payroll Administrator is responsible forpreparing,maintainingand auditing all payroll records, preparing pay cheques foremployeesand managing all payroll-related information. The Payroll Administrator reports directly to the Director of Finance .
As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Support the FinanceDirectorand Assistant FinanceDirector in the management,preparation, andanalysisofpayrollfor theentirehotel
Collect, enter, andverifypayrollvariables (workedhours, absences,bonuses, overtime, etc.)
Prepareandreviewmonthlypayrollslips
Ensurecompliancewith Swisslaborlaw, collectivelaboragreements, andinternalpolicies
Manage socialsecurityandtaxdeductions(AVS/AI/APG,unemploymentinsurance, pensionfund,withholdingtax, etc.)
Monitor andsubmitsocial contributions andperiodicdeclarationstoauthorities
Manageemployeeadministrative follow-up (onboarding,offboarding,salarycertificates)
Prepareannualsalarycertificates
Producepayrollreports for management andaccountingpurposes
Ensureinternalcontrolstoguaranteeaccuracyand compliance ofpayrolldata
Actasapoint of contact foremployeesregardingpayroll-relatedquestions
Liaisewithsocialsecurityfunds,insurancecompanies, and pension institutions
Monitorlegalandregulatorychangesrelatedtopayrolland socialsecurity
Contributetocontinuousimprovementof HR andpayrollprocesses in collaborationwithHR
As Payroll Administrator, we expect from you:
Proven experience inpayrollwithin a luxury hospitality environment.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiencyin cost control systems and Microsoft Excel; knowledgeofMirustool is an advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
Fluency in EnglishandFrench,another European language is a plus.
