About the Role
The Systems Design Project Manager (IRT) supports clinical trials by designing and delivering IRT systems that ensure patients receive the correct study drug according to protocol. The role is highly consultative and client‑facing, requiring strong IRT expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a regulated environment.
What You’ll Do
* Analyze study protocols and define IRT system needs with clients.
* Consult with sponsors on the best approach to IRT system setup and design.
* Author user requirement documents and lead review cycles with internal and external teams.
* Develop and manage project timelines to ensure on‑time delivery.
* Prepare project reports including status updates, tracking metrics, and financial summaries.
* Oversee financial elements such as deliverable tracking and invoice approval.
* Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and milestone achievement.
* Lead issue resolution and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to proposals and RFPs as needed.
* Mentor junior PMs and support team development.
* Present project updates at internal and external meetings.
* Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, and quality standards.
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* Substantial years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
* Mandatory experience in IRT system design.
* SQL experience desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to meet quality and timeline expectations.
* Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
* Proficiency with MS Office and general software tools.
