Hardware Design Engineer

IT Search has partnered with a long-established global innovator to recruit a Hardware Design Engineer for their R&D centre in Jona. This company produces high-quality, high-volume products used across Europe and has a reputation for engineering excellence and employee wellbeing.
You’ll join a cross-functional R&D team, contributing to the design, development, and industrialization of embedded electronic systems for intelligent devices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and simulate analog/digital circuits
* Create schematics, layouts, and production documentation
* Build, verify, and optimize prototypes
* Support EMC testing and ensure smooth production integration
What You Bring:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* Experience with analog and digital circuit design, microcontroller integration, and PCB layout
* Strong skills in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting
* Familiarity with EMC testing and optimization
* Detail-oriented, methodical, and solution-driven approach
* Fluent in German (written and spoken), with good English proficiency
