Your main responsibilities
1. Lead the operational and financial management of a portfolio of solar PV, wind, and mini‑hydro assets in Italy
2. Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize performance, availability, and value
3. Monitor KPIs, production data, budgets, and cash flows to ensure targets are achieved
4. Manage asset‑level budgets, forecasts, and long‑term financial models
5. Ensure compliance with financing agreements, lender reporting, and covenant requirements
6. Oversee key contracts (O&M, PPA, land lease, insurance) and manage external partners
7. Ensure compliance with Italian regulatory frameworks and monitor market developments
8. Lead and support the Asset Management team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
Your Impact
As Senior Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding and enhancing the value of a strategically important renewable energy portfolio in Italy. Your impact will include:
9. Value Creation: Driving EBITDA growth and long-term asset value through performance optimization, cost control, and strategic initiatives (refinancing, contract optimization).
10. Financial Performance: Protecting cash flow stability and ensuring compliance with financing structures and shareholders return expectations.
11. Operational Excellence: Increasing asset availability and improving technical performance across the portfolio.
12. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifying and managing operational, regulatory, and market risks to preserve downside protection.
Your Profile
13. Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field
14. 7–10 years of experience in renewable energy asset management, infrastructure, or IPP environments
15. Strong knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market and regulatory framework and strong experience in O&M contract management
16. Experience managing utility‑scale solar and/or wind assets
17. Solid experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and performance optimization
18. Familiarity with project finance structures and lender requirements
19. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
20. Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken
