Senior Compliance Officer 100% (f/m/d), temporary for 1 year Geneva (CH)

To strengthen our Compliance department at our Geneva branch, we are looking for an experienced individual.
Your Responsibilities
1. Managing the opening of high-risk accounts and PEPs
2. Transactions monitoring from an AML perspective
3. Analysis and drafting of complex cases for presentation to the ARC (Account and Review Committee) / Executive Committee
4. Daily processing of customer database alerts
5. Processing changes in circumstances (CDB, change of domicile, etc.)
6. Daily processing of blocked account transactions
7. Drafting and submission of MROS communications via GoAML
8. Processing requests from correspondent banks
9. Processing requests from other internal departments (reference letters, credit applications, etc.)
10. Carrying out quality control on opening files processed by the first line of defence (BRM)
11. Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
12. Collaboration on projects at Swiss Bank and Group level
Your Profile
1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the private banking sector in Geneva
3. Fluency in French, English is essential, another language (German, Arabic) a big plus
4. Strong knowledge of Swiss banking regulations and international compliance standards
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
