We are strengthening our Finance Department and looking to hire a Finance & Accounting Manager for our Dietikon location.
What you can expect:
Join Volpi's Finance team and take an important hands-on role in our daily accounting operations. You will support financial reporting, help improve processes, and work closely with colleagues in Switzerland and the US. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility over time.
What You'll Do:
* Handle and support daily accounting tasks for our Swiss and US entities (accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, general ledger work).
* Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Help prepare financial reports and ensure data is accurate and complete.
* Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and systems.
* Collaborate with team members in Switzerland and the US to keep processes aligned.
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Open to travel to the US (10–20%) for training, team collaboration, or projects.
You Have:
* Completed commercial/apprenticeship background (e.g., KV, Fachfrau/Fachmann Finanz- und Rechnungswesen, or similar).
* 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial planning, and budget management, ideally in a managerial role.
* Motivation to learn more about Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP, US GAAP is a nice-to-have.
* Experience leading teams across multiple locations and collaborating with remote stakeholders.
* Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel, Power BI, and financial modelling skills.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Fluency in English & German is a must.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach and strong willingness to grow.
