About the Role
BOTMECASH is building a Bitcoin-first financial platform designed to help everyday Nigerians buy sats simply, securely, and in compliance with financial standards.
We are entering a critical execution phase and are looking for a high-performance backend developer to take ownership of our admin and infrastructure systems.
What You’ll Work On
Build a secure admin dashboard (users, transactions, compliance monitoring)
Implement fiat → BTC payment flows (virtual accounts, settlement logic)
Develop real-time settlement systems for instant sats delivery
Design compliance-first infrastructure (KYC/AML hooks, audit logs)
Architect a scalable backend system optimized for speed and reliability
Requirements
Strong experience with Node.js backend systems
Experience building APIs and financial systems
Ability to design secure, scalable architecture
Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
Strong attention to detail, especially around compliance and data integrity
Bonus
Familiarity with Bitcoin / Lightning Network
Experience with payments, wallets, or fintech infrastructure
Systems-thinking mindset (not just feature delivery)
