ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Marketing Automation Manager to lead the design, execution, and optimization of our marketing automation initiatives.
You will be responsible for driving the marketing automation roadmap, governance, processes, communication campaigns, demand generation, lead nurturing, improving conversion rates, and enabling sales through data-driven marketing programs.
This role requires expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., SAP Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or similar), CRM integration (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CRM or similar), and campaign performance analytics.
As a Business Application Owner of Marketing Automation, you will be part of the Digital Engagement and eCommerce Excellence (DEEX) team, which oversees digital touchpoints including customer IAM, CEX, Marketing Intelligence, Decisioning, eCommerce, Learning Experience Management, and Marketing Automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Execution
* Manage and develop the marketing automation roadmap aligned with business goals within GMCE.
* Design and implement automated campaigns for communication, lead nurturing, scoring, lifecycle management, and re-engagement.
* Drive personalization and dynamic content strategies across channels (email, SMS, social messaging).
Campaign Management
* Collaborate with demand generation, product marketing, and content teams to develop multi-touch campaigns.
* Optimize lead flows, forms, and profiling to maximize lead capture.
Data & Analytics
* Define KPIs for automation effectiveness (e.g., MQLs, conversion rates, CPL).
* Monitor performance and report on campaign outcomes and pipeline impact.
* Ensure data hygiene and lead management processes.
Tech Stack & Integration
* Serve as the business partner for marketing automation platform management.
* Manage integrations with CRM, web analytics, webinar tools, and other MarTech platforms.
* Evaluate and implement automation tools to improve scalability and efficiency.
Team Enablement & Collaboration
* Provide guidance and training on automation best practices.
* Collaborate with Sales, IT, and Service teams on lead handover and reporting.
* Lead and coach project teams with a team-oriented attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have:
* 8+ years in marketing automation, with 2+ years in a senior/lead role.
* Hands-on experience with one or more marketing automation platforms.
* Strong understanding of lead scoring, customer journeys, and funnel metrics.
* Experience with CRM platforms and campaign reporting.
* Knowledge of customer data architectures and operational flows.
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience in B2B enterprise, healthcare, or technology sectors.
* Familiarity with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and global compliance regulations.
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email optimization.
* Knowledge of Account Based Marketing (ABM) and data enrichment.
Soft Skills:
* Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
