Job Description
The Senior Principal Biostatistician (a) will be leading a project study of a new drug in Phase 3 which will include the following tasks:
Perform advanced statistical analyses to support clinical and non-clinical research activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement statistical strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for statistical reporting.
Develop and review statistical analysis plans and related documentation.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior biostatisticians and team members.
Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and scientific publications.
Identify and implement innovative statistical methodologies to improve data analysis processes.
Communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders within the organization.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate will bring:
A degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
Min 8 years relevant experience as a statistician or data scientist within the pharmaceutical ideally with experience of having gone through submissions (e.g. FDA submission)
Proficiency in statistical software tools such as SAS or R (no programming)
Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies applicable to the LIFE SCIENCES industry.
Experience with regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials.
Excellent communication in English and problem-solving skills.
Experience with dynamic reporting and shiny Apps as a user is an advantage.
