The EMEA Herbicides Product Manager for Winter Crop Herbicides will lead the development and implementation of region-wide marketing strategies focused on cereals and oilseed rape. You will coordinate closely with local marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment with market needs, profitability goals, regulatory trends, and product lifecycles. This role will be essential in driving EMEA market share and margin through strategic positioning, launch execution, and lifecycle optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Regional Strategy & Positioning
* Define robust product strategies (positioning, pricing, value proposition) tailored to winter crops in EMEA
* Monitor competitor moves, regulatory changes, and agronomic trends to identify commercial opportunities
* Go-to-Market & Launch Management
* Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with national marketing and sales teams
* Manage lifecycle transitions for mature and emerging herbicide products to maximize commercial impact
* Cross-functional Collaboration
* Partner with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain to align pipeline, registrations, and portfolio priorities
* Act as the region's subject-matter expert on winter crop herbicides
* Performance & Growth
* Drive profitability and volume growth through differentiated strategies and pricing models
* Identify unmet market needs and lead initiatives to address them
* Marketing Toolkit Development
* Design and deliver regional marketing tools, sales aids, and campaign assets
* Localise content and campaigns with in-market teams to ensure resonance and impact
Candidate Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Marketing, Agronomy, Agribusiness or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in crop protection or seed marketing, with focus on marketing strategy
* Deep agronomic understanding of winter cereals and oilseed rape
* Proven project management skills across matrix and multi-market environments
* Fluent in English; additional proficiency in French or German advantageous
* Strong strategic mindset, market-driven approach, and excellent communication skills
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 20–30% across the EMEA region
