SALES REPRESENTATIVE - SWITZERLAND (BIENNE) F/M
We are looking for a Sales Representative for a temp contract of 6 months in our showroom in Bienne
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing a client portfolio and assuring the growth of the turnover for the Brands and territory in charge.
You are driven by sales and results and willing to achieve the company’s sales targets. You focus on growth.
Meet or exceed sales targets [including pre-books and invoicing]
Organization and planification of seasonal sales campaigns
Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
Follow-up any sales leads (for pre-season orders or reorders)
Negotiate budgets with customers with the aim to take market share against competitors
Negotiate space for brand(s) in the store to maximize brand and product visibility
Negotiate terms with customers in line with company profitability targets
Understand customer needs and present directive ranges to customers
Selling of all product divisions and categories according to the brand strategy [respect of brand distribution/segmentation strategies, GTM plans, product stories, merchandising recommendations]
Physically visit of the clients to focus to evaluate needs (VM, POP, reorders), perform product trainings, and ensure merchandising as best-in class to drive sell through
Regular communication with the customer to fulfill in-season needs
Analysis of this sell-through data: i.e. proactive markdowns on products that are not moving to drive sales, reorder activation on product that are moving
Share sell out reports at a division and category level on a monthly back to brand lead
Key contact for customers to answer questions about products, prices, and availability
Accountability to product forecasting – drive the selling of excess stock at the end of a selling season
Assist in setting up and cleaning up the showroom pre and post season
Assist in selling samples at end of prebook season
Active participation in finding, proposing, and selling product substitutions if/when needed (management of uncovered amounts to maximize individual revenue)
Help to clear old inventory in line with brand distribution strategy
Product and Marketing
Propose and activate trade marketing operations working closely with the trade marketing teams (Hub and Brand)
Share feedbacks on the range at the end of each season to brand coordinator (this will only be in rep description)
Customer and Account Maintenance
Accurate and continuous maintenance of customer records (including but not limited to name, email, phone number, etc.)
Daily update of account status in sales force during the season to facilitate an accurate landing for in-season inventory purchases (My Forecasts, Request from Sales Liaison)
Daily update of agendas into Salesforce
Responsible to ensure all customer information is accurate in Salesforce (including customer segmentation to be reviewed each season)
German speaking mandatory
Commercial background (Bachelor required) with strong sales experience
Ability to prioritize tasks/workload in respecttodeadlines
Results-oriented
Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
Strong ability to make proposals and bring solutions to the customer
Strong ability to problem-solve with the customer
Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network
Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold‑calling customers and making a sale (conversion of prospect customers)
Proactive and independent planning of the work program on a weekly, quarterly, and monthly basis
Market knowledge of the Action Sports and Lifestyle industries
Representing the company, brand(s) and image to our customers
Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, sales meetings and customer meetings
