The city of Fribourg is opening a position for a Landscape Foreman at 100% (M/F) in the Urban Planning X Architecture Service, Parks and Walkways Sector.Your missions:- Ensure and manage the maintenance of green spaces in the city of Fribourg according to a sustainable approach (biodiversity).- Plan and coordinate the work of the teams responsible for maintenance (4 zones, 16 maintenance of the wooded areas of the city of Fribourg).- Be the point of contact for health and safety at work within the sector.- Be responsible for personnel training within the sector.- Design and implement environmentally friendly development projects.Your profile:- CFC in horticulture with a federal diploma as a landscape gardener or as an ES technician, or equivalent certification.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field with experience in team leadership.- Management or leadership experience would be an asset in terms of health and safety at work.- Comfortable with public service and a sense of service.- Ability to prioritize and coordinate by adopting a global and cross-sectional vision.- Autonomous, reliable, and responsible individual with a team spirit.- Proficiency in usual office tools.- French or German speaker with very good oral and written knowledge of the partner language.Start date: July 1st or to be agreed upon.Sensitive to sustainable development, the city of Fribourg requests that applications be sent via the recruitment site (until April 19th).
