OverviewMandarin Oriental Palace Luzern is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations across all outlets. The role ensures exceptional service standards, efficient team management, and outstanding guest experiences.ResponsibilitiesSecure a seamless, efficient, and high‑quality day‑to‑day operation across all Food & Beverage outlets.Plan, coordinate, and allocate daily tasks while maintaining optimal staffing levels at all times.Lead, motivate, and develop teams through coaching, feedback, and targeted training in line with Mandarin Oriental standards.Maintain full responsibility for compliance with all quality, service, hygiene, and safety standards.Actively contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control with a strong focus on food, beverage, and labor costs.Identify revenue‑enhancing opportunities and work closely with the Event Sales team to maximize overall profitability.Design and implement sales initiatives and experiential concepts to continuously elevate guest satisfaction.Ensure all F&B areas, facilities, and equipment are maintained to the highest standard in close coordination with the Engineering team.Oversee inventory management, product flow, and a sustainable approach to resources and waste reduction.Handle guest requests and feedback with professionalism and care, actively shaping an exceptional and personalized guest experience.QualificationsDegree or advanced qualification in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Minimum of two years’ relevant professional experience, ideally in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience.Background in hotel management, culinary arts, or a comparable hospitality discipline is considered an advantage.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Certification and training in alcohol service, hygiene, and food safety, as well as a valid health certificate where legally required.Highly organized, professional, and reliable approach, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and a polished personal presentation.Excellent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken.Benefits & CommitmentLearning & Development programs tailored to your career stage to foster continuous growth.MOstay program offering complimentary nights and attractive room rates for you and your loved ones.Health & Wellness benefits and wellness programs to support a healthy work‑life balance.Access to Swiss Deluxe Hotels for you and your family to enjoy prestigious stays across Switzerland.And much more to enhance your experience and well‑being.
