Summary
We are seeking a reliable IT System Administrator to support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure in Basel. This onsite role (60% workload) focuses on ensuring stable system operations, supporting users, and maintaining secure and efficient IT environments.
Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain Windows servers, networks, and core IT infrastructure
* Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting for users and systems
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and device configuration
* Monitor system performance, backups, and security updates
* Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
* Document IT procedures and assist with infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
* Experience in IT system administration or IT support roles
* Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and hardware support
* Problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
* Fluent in English; German is an advantage
