As Junior Regulatory Specialist you will work within our Taste & Wellbeing Regulatory Department in a regional team unit operating in European Markets. You will be responsible for providing internal and external customers with regulatory consultancy by maintaining and enhancing customer information in relation to site and product certifications (i.e. Halal, Kosher, Organic, RSPO and others). You will be part of a supportive, diverse and responsible team which is already curious to meet you.
This role is based in Kemptthal (Switzerland).
You will:
Provide internal customers (sales, operations, regional innovation and/or other regulatory teams) and external customers with consistent and compliant formula reviews and documentation in an expeditious timeframe to meet commercial, creation and research initiatives and customer expectations
Provide regulatory support in relation to current and future certifications for Europe
Collaborate with external certification bodies (ie. Auditors) and internal stakeholders (i.e. quality experts, operations, procurement)
Participate in Audits for certifications renewals (on site and/or remotely based on the needs)
Identify issues relevant to commercial opportunities and interact with commercial teams as guided to provide regulatory support
Maintain and manage request logs and utilize functionalities of internal SAP-based regulatory systems and databases
Implement routine processes and procedures
You have:
A Degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, food, biological or physical sciences
1-2 years of regulatory experience in Flavours or Food or related industry
Strong PC skills, including competency in MS Office products
Preferred working knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements and certifications
Basic understanding of components of appropriate business processes and internal systems
Basic knowledge of regulatory systems
Business Fluency in English is a must
Strong communication (both written and oral)
Problem-solving and proactive mindset
