We are currently looking for a Lab Technician - Sensor Technology to support an R&D project in the field of measurement systems and data analysis. This is a hands-on lab-based role ideal for someone with strong practical experience in executing measurement campaigns and experimental setups.
Your Responsibilities
* Preparation and handling of test devices
* Execution of measurement campaigns with data acquisition
* Validation and analysis of measurement data
* Assessment of measurement uncertainty
* Structured documentation of test results
* Collaboration with R&D engineers and project leads
* Maintain a high level of reliability and structured work ethic
* Work primarily on-site in our lab in Hinwil, with up to 20% remote flexibility
What You Bring
1. Completed education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
2. 3–4 years of professional experience in :
3. Experimental design and laboratory setup
4. Measurement execution and test equipment handling
5. Data validation, analysis, and uncertainty assessment
6. Experience with Matlab (1–3 years)
7. Basic knowledge of Python; LabView is a plus
8. Strong team player with a hands-on mentality
9. Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
10. Experience with ultrasonic measurements is an advantage, but not required
