Job Description
We are hiring a Sales Manager in Geneva who has extensive Freight Forwarding experience. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a Book Of Business within the branch's geographical reach by implementing the company's commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth.
How you will contribute
* Manage Book Of Business ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue, and Margin
* Liaise with Branch Operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
* Assist clients with their day-to-day requests related to export/import quotations and negotiations to ensure proper opportunity closing
* Coordinate with DP World´s internal network and external partners to guarantee the best possible service assistance
* Regularly update our CRM system to manage your pipeline and record activities for the Field Sales Incentive Scheme
What you will bring
* Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
* Solid working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
* Ability to research, identify, grow, and close business opportunities with support from product and operations teams
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Effective communication skills in verbal, written, and interpersonal forms. Ability to interact with clients, carriers, other forwarders, and vendors
* Excellent command of English and French; additional languages are a plus
