Digital Business Lead – Role Pitch (Concise) The Digital Business Lead role sits at the heart of Drees & Sommer’s digital growth strategy. It blends strategic digital business development with hands-on execution: Identify and analyse international target markets Shape and expand the digital services portfolio Build and run effective go-to-market and sales campaigns Optimise customer journeys and conversion through data-driven insights Grow an international partner network in digital sales A truly hybrid role for candidates who thrive at the intersection of strategy, digital innovation, and operational impact. Ideal profile: experience in digital B2B business development, strong strategic mindset, entrepreneurial drive, excellent communication skills, high digital affinity, and fluency in German English. Role Profile A business development professional focused on immediate sales impact, with no team leadership responsibilities at the beginning. Primary focus on the German market, with potential expansion to the UK and UAE. The candidate must be fully operational from day one, without needing a long period to build a network. They will work closely with Jordan’s team and have access to support resources (solution architects, technical pre-sales, resource management). Key Competencies Strong business acumen: P&L, ROI, industry knowledge. Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills. Experience in the tech sector, ideally in digital services. Proven, measurable sales results. Fluent German and English are mandatory. Active LinkedIn presence and strong network. Ability to understand the digital services business model. Target Companies Consulting and IT services firms: Capgemini, Deloitte, Accenture. Big Tech: Oracle, Google, Microsoft. Any company in digital services / IT consulting. Hiring Process Two interview steps: 1. MIKE (LEAD DACH SOLUTION - DACH) AND JORDAN (LEAD SOLUTION) Final decision-maker Candidates with a client portfolio / track record of sales results will be highly valued. Location: Spain or Germany, with possible consideration of Austria, Switzerland, or Luxembourg. The hiring process is fast, with decisions made within a few days.
