For one of our clients we are currently looking for a hands‑on Legal Counsel to support the Global HR Legal function and sanctions‑related matters in a highly operational, fast‑moving environment.
Pharma | Legal Counsel | Basel | 12+ months | asap | 60–100% | CHF 120’000–160’000
Responsibilities
* Provide hands‑on employment law support for headquarters and global entities
* Advise on operational HR legal matters including disciplinary cases, investigations, and terminations
* Support HR inspections, audits, authority requests, and workforce‑related regulatory matters
* Assess and manage legal risks related to sanctions, export controls, and sensitive jurisdictions
* Identify red flags quickly and deliver pragmatic, defensible legal guidance in live cases
Experience
* 3–8 years of post‑qualification experience (junior to mid‑level)
* Expertise in employment law and regulatory thinking
* Exposure to sanctions law, export controls, or other highly regulated environments
* Fluent in English and able to work independently under pressure
