Your profile
* Training as a chef or pastry chef with at least five years of professional experience in the same or a similar position in high-end gastronomy
* Excellent knowledge of Swiss, French and Italian patisserie/confectionery
* Flexibility regarding working hours
* Good language skills in English, oral and written; other languages (especially German) an advantage
* Good leadership skills
* Exceptional ability to deal with hectic situations while maintaining a professional approach at all times
Main tasks
* Develop and create new desserts, pastries and confectionery using seasonal and local produce
* Work closely and communicate well with the Executive Chef
* Ensure compliance with HACCP standards
* Ensure safety standards are met
* Educate and train employees according to a training plan, carry out tastings for all employees
* Conduct trial period meetings and annual quality meetings with all patisserie staff with the support of the Executive Chef
* Set the pace in the kitchen as well as daily business expectations and special events
