We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager-Aerospace /Strategic Accounts to join our sales team. Reporting to the Technical Director, the ideal candidate will have Industry experience, with 10+ years within the metalworking industry. Proven leadership skills and ability to successfully led teams and/or sales-related projects with the ability to work with engineers, distributor & direct sales reps, senior (C-Level) management and other stakeholders.

Tasks, Responsibilities, Competences
Develop & Implement customer Value Propositions:
Formulates & executes our LT approach for the assigned projects based on a technical analysis of customer needs and our capabilities.
Project Management:
* Plan, execute, monitor and deliver on key sales projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives, with focus on the sub-segments of Aerospace Engines & Aerospace – Structures.
* Set meeting schedule, agendas, GANTT charts, document meetings & assign tasks to all pertinent stakeholders/project members.
* Leverages project acumen into other sub-segments/applications.
Customer Relationship Management:
Initiate and nurture customer relationships, assist the sales team with drafting proposals and closing deals related to the project(s).
Authority:
The Position is granted authority by the Regional Head to take the leadership & decision-making role of such assigned strategic sales projects to execute the agreed upon strategy/plan
Objective and Requirements
Objective / purpose of the function
* To lead, coordinate, plan, execute, monitor and deliver on assigned (per discretion of Technical Director and Sales Management) strategic sales projects until project closure
* Coordinates sales strategies and manages customer interactions to ensure the successful execution of assigned projects.
* To foster and manage collaboration amongst Sales & IP Management, Applications Engineering, Global Segment Managers, Global business Development and other relevant Blaser stakeholders as needed for such projects
Requirements
Proven leadership skills:
* successfully led teams and/or sales-related projects with the ability to work with engineers, distributor & direct sales reps, senior (C-Level) management and other stakeholders.
* Analytical thinking required to "connect the dots" between various accounts/departments/projects/etc. as well as Problem Solving/Engineering mindset to address/resolve challenges and ensure project success.
* Willing & able to travel (domestic & international), min. 30%
Formation (technical) / Experiences (profession, leadership, industry) / Skills (IT, languages, market, product, technique, machines) / Capability (personal) / Specials (willingness for travel), representations in associations etc.)
* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Project Management, Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Industry experience: 10+ years within the metalworking industry
* Strong knowledge of machining, materials and related processes
* Strong communication skills, including presentation skills
* Strong sales and relationship building skills
* Project management skills and experience
