* Leading the team responsible for the development of the localization solution for our mobile robots.
* Driving the requirement engineering, concept definition and architecture for SLAM, re-relocalization and multi-modal sensor fusion.
* Evaluating, testing and implementing state-of-the-art methods and adapting them to our needs.
* System integration and building product out of cutting-edge algorithms.
* Deliver reliable software through code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing.
* Coding in modern C++ and occasionally Python.
* Working in a startup like environment within a global company, with flat hierarchies and high personal influence.
This is you
* Master or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
* Passion for leading and mentoring engineers.
* Track record of at least 5 years in using or implementing localization algorithms.
* Strong theoretical understanding of SLAM, state estimation, and computer vision in general.
* Experience with ToF and RGB-D sensors is a plus.
* You are very experienced in modern C++ and comfortable with Python.
* You like to work independently and hands-on in rapid iterations with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Proficiency in English (official language), German is advantageus.
