The Position
In a global, cross-functional environment, the System Development department focuses on workflow optimization and integration of hardware, software, consumables, and reagents for system verification of diagnostic instruments.
As a System Integration Troubleshooter, you will work within a team on the development or maintenance of complex diagnostics systems involving fluidics, robotics software, thermal, electrical, mechanical, and biochemical components.
Responsibilities
* Conduct root-cause investigations during development or escalated from field or operations across all lifecycle phases, collaborating to develop solutions for complex issues.
* Build expertise and support RMD Development Teams, Global Customer Support, Case Investigation and Resolution, and Operations through cross-department interaction.
* Manage internal repair visits, retrofit mechanical parts, monitor configuration management, and handle software updates.
* Plan work packages independently and monitor progress.
* Perform integration activities at the system component level, coordinating with project teams and other departments.
* Analyze data statistically to support troubleshooting, risk assessment, product development, and process improvement.
Qualifications
* Degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Ability to work independently on cross-departmental tasks.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German.
* Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking skills.
* Experience in statistical data analysis.
