For one of our Clients, we are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM Expert. This will be as a Consultant on an initial 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring alignment with ITIL and CSDM.
* Lead and enhance Discovery across on-prem, network, and cloud environments.
* Implement and maintain Service Mapping (Traffic-based, Tag-based, and Manual).
* Manage and configure MID Servers.
* Integrate CMDB data with ITSM processes (Incident/Change).
* Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and data quality improvements.
* Produce CMDB reports and insights for stakeholders.
* Partner with IT teams and service owners to ensure the CMDB supports operational needs.
Skills & Experience
* BSc in Computer Science, IT or related field.
* 6+ years' hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
* Strong understanding of CSDM and CMDB data modelling.
* Proficient in Discovery Patterns, Service Graph Connectors, IRE, and platform configuration.
* Advanced JavaScript skills for ServiceNow customisation.
* Good knowledge of networking protocols and Windows/Linux/cloud infrastructure.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
