Beschreibung

Join CERN’s Superconducting Radiofrequency (SRF) team and help design next-generation cryomodules for future particle accelerators, including the FCC-ee project, and you will work in a multidisciplinary environment developing advanced cryogenic and radiofrequency systems at the forefront of accelerator technology.


Your responsibilities

* Participate, and gradually take up a lead role, in the cryomodule design and integration of the SRF cavities and associated systems, as well as the assembly processes, in clean-room and outside clean-room, and associated special tooling.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at CERN and partner laboratories.
* Take up lead of the cryogenic engineering activities, including thermal performance and safety considerations.
* Ensure mechanical designs meet applicable safety and regulatory requirements, in particular for pressure vessels.
* Coordinate design, prototyping and testing activities with engineering and technical teams.
* Monitor progress and share results through reports and presentations.
