 
        
        As the Data Architect & Product Owner, you will drive both the technical architecture vision and strategic platform evolution, ensuring business‑as‑usual operations run smoothly while continuously improving governance, performance, and usability of the data ecosystem.
You will lead the BAU and continuous improvement of the Foundry‑based Data Products Platform, balancing architecture stewardship with agile product ownership.
Your responsibilities cover data modeling, platform governance, performance optimization, and enablement.
At the same time, you will act as an Asset Management Domain Data Architect, owning and evolving Asset Management data architecture further.

Key Responsibilities
Product Owner
Own the roadmap, backlog, and priorities for platform stability, security, and feature evolution
Ensure the platform remains aligned with architectural best practices and enterprise standards
Balance operational reliability (incident management, monitoring, runbooks) with strategic development (enhancements, automation, and innovation)
Prioritize improvements that deliver sustainable business value, such as reusability, maintainability, and governance automation
Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring critical SLAs (e.g., KEP, KWP) are consistently met
Coordinate closely with use‑case oriented squads to ensure platform scalability, enablement, and smooth onboarding of new use cases
Develop and maintain reusable components, templates, and patterns to accelerate delivery of new data solutions
Create and share best‑practice documentation, onboarding materials, and training to uplift data engineering maturity across the organization
Asset Management Data Architect
Define and maintain data models (structured and unstructured) across the Asset Management landscape (AMADM, Markit EDM, and related schemas)
Govern schema, metadata, and lineage standards across Foundry; review and approve model changes for consistency and compliance
Define integration patterns, data flow design, and architectural guidelines for cross‑domain interoperability
Ensure all changes adhere to data governance principles, including classification, retention, and metadata completeness
Collaborate with other teams to define and evolve data architecture blueprints, governance frameworks, and performance guidelines
Provide architectural oversight for Foundry and other use cases, ensuring solutions adhere to AM data architecture principles and Swiss Re standards
Represent the squad in architecture and data governance forums, advocating for standardization, interoperability, and continuous improvement

About You
You’re passionate about engineering and data practices, and you fully understand the value of ETL processes in delivering accurate, reliable, and accessible data. You are technically fluent in data architecture and hands‑on with Foundry yet capable of steering cross‑functional stakeholders towards a shared product vision. You’re equally comfortable discussing schema normalization as you are defining roadmap priorities or handling production incidents.
Proven track record as Data Architect, Data Product Owner, or Platform Owner in a data‑intensive environment
Deep expertise in data modeling, data governance, ETL, and performance optimization
Hands‑on experience with Palantir Foundry (Object Sets, Ontologies, Code Workbooks, Contour)
Technical fluency in Python, SQL, and PySpark
Experience managing agile backlogs and balancing BAU with strategic initiatives
Strong understanding of security, access control, and compliance in enterprise data platforms
Excellent communication skills — able to translate between technical and business perspectives
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with Stargate, Databricks, or MSBI ecosystems
Knowledge of asset management data domains and operational data flows
Compensation & Benefits
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 3,300] and [EUR 5,500] per month (for a full‑time role). The specific salary offered considers the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, and the applicant’s own profile including education, qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
