Closely align with R&Dcommunity in the BU and Procurement (Commodity Managers, Buyers)2.Early Supplier Integration Include suppliers and conductcost-benefit analysis workshops, innovation workshops and conceptcompetitions with key suppliers in order to concentrate on the keyfunctions of the components/projects.3. Analysis Initiate marketobservation, conduct and provide market information/analyses oninternational technology and price trends in order to obtain newsuppliers and new technologies in the supply chain.4. Alignment ofTechnology Roadmaps Introduce and follow up given cross-functionalProcurement strategies to ensure the linkage of commoditystrategies and technological market trends.5. Strategy alignmentSupport activities planned by the lines of business in order toharmonize and implement the technological line-of-businessstrategies with procurement strategies.6.
