Spend-IQ, the flagship product of Machines Eye, is an AI-powered financial agent helping users understand and optimize their spending through natural conversations. Backed by CHF 50K in angel investment, an MVP, and early validation (Google Zurich, ETH AI Center), we’re now seeking a technical co-founder to join this high-impact journey.
What You’ll Lead
* Own all technical decisions and architecture
* Build, scale, and iterate on the AI-driven finance agent
* Integrate bank APIs, vector DBs, LLMs, and secure data pipelines
* Set the tech strategy and roadmap toward our pre-seed raise and beyond
Must-Have Tech Skills
* Strong background in AI/ML, NLP, and LLMs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
* Proficient in Python, Node.js, or React Native
* Experience with vector databases, Supabase, PostgreSQL, MCP, ADK, and API integrations
* Familiarity with data privacy, user auth, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Vercel, AWS, GCP)
Must-Have Interpersonal Qualities
* Startup mindset: ownership, speed, and comfort with uncertainty
* Collaborative, mission-driven, and proactive communicator
* Available to contribute evenings and weekends pre-funding
* Willing to go full-time after pre-seed funding
* Ideally based in Zurich (or open to relocating)
