Facility Manager / School Operations Manager 80%
Your Responsibilities
* Regular inspections of school buildings and facilities (safety, cleanliness, functionality)
* Organisation and coordination of repairs, maintenance work, furnishing, and legally required safety checks with external specialists
* Supervising and scheduling a team of 7 staff members
* Management and oversight of service and maintenance contracts (e.g. building technology, cleaning, safety)
* Keeping repair and maintenance journals and ensuring accurate documentation
* Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks independently
* Supporting the administration office by fielding phone calls and assisting parents, students, and employees with their requests
* Close cooperation with the school leadership and external partners
Your Profile
* Completed technical or vocational training, ideally with further education as a certified caretaker (Hauswart mit eidg. Fachausweis) or equivalent qualification
* Several years of experience in facility management, caretaking, or building operations
* Strong organisational skills, reliability, and a service-oriented approach
* Experience in leading small teams is an advantage
* Experience with Microsoft or Google suite
* Language skills: German at C1 level (fluent), English at B2 level, english is the everyday language
