Your tasks:
* Define and execute theglobal IT supplier strategyaligned with Bachem's digital roadmap.
* Act as a trusted advisorto all IT departments, providing market insights and commercial expertise.
* Drivecontinuous cost optimizationthrough benchmarking, consolidation, and competitive sourcing.
* Establish and maintain a global delivery and support model that meets regional and regulatory needs.
* Identify and shapelong‑term strategic partnershipsto enable innovation and capability growth.
* Ensure astructured and measurable vendor governance model(SLAs, KPIs, reviews).
* Leadstrategic reviewsfocusing on value creation, innovation, and risk mitigation.
* Own contracting and commercial strategy to ensuretransparent cost structures and TCO optimization.
* Leadstrategic sourcing initiatives (RFPs)and monitor market trends for emerging solutions.
* Ensureglobally consistent service delivery, addressing structural issues and driving systemic improvements.
Your profile:
* Master's degree inIT, Business Informatics, Technology Management, or a related field.
* 8-10+ yearsof experience in IT supplier management, strategic sourcing, or multivendor governance.
* Proven track record ofvalue generation(cost optimization, TCO reduction, efficiency gains, innovation impact).
* Strong ability to act as acentral enabler, co‑creating sourcing and service models with IT service owners.
* Deep experience negotiatingsoftware and cloud licensing agreementswith focus on flexibility and risk reduction.
* Expertise inglobal service delivery models, cloud & managed services, and modern vendor ecosystems.
* Solid understanding ofcontracting frameworks, commercial models, SLAs/KPIs, and performance management.
* Experience working inregulated industries(Life Sciences / GxP) with compliance awareness.
* Excellentstakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skillsacross IT, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Quality & Security.
* Stronganalytical and strategic problem‑solvingcapabilities
* Fluent in English (German an advantage).
