Senior account executive – public sector, transport & international organizations

We are looking for an experienced Client Partner to lead and expand strategic relationships across the Public Sector (cantonal, municipal, Education), Transport Operators, and International Organizations.
In this role, you act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, drive growth across key accounts, open new opportunities, and position our company as a long term strategic partner for digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud, and data-driven modernization.
You will own both strategic account development and targeted new client acquisition in complex, regulated, multi stakeholder environments.

Your Mission
Strategic Account Leadership

Engage C-level stakeholders and understand client context

Own and develop key account relationships end-to-end

Lead account strategy, planning, and executive reviews

Drive demand and shape commercial proposals

Manage complex, multi-year sales cycles

Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure execution

Act as main contact for strategic and escalation topics

Business Development & New Client Acquisition
Identify, qualify, and win new strategic opportunities in:

national & regional public administration,

transport and mobility operators (rail, urban transport, airports),

UN agencies, NGOs, and non profits in Geneva.

Industry Expertise
In order to advise clients effectively, develop strong knowledge of the public sector, transportation, and international‑organization landscapes, for example: public‑sector tendering and governance models, mobility and passenger‑experience trends, digital identity and e‑government initiatives, or the operating frameworks of UN and multilateral agencies.

Solution Leadership

Promote the company’s capabilities across digital transformation, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions.

Ensure these offerings are positioned as integrated, strategic solutions tailored to client needs and industries.

Represent the company externally at events and contribute to strengthening its market presence and expertise.

Internal Leadership & Collaboration

Work transversally with delivery, project directors, architects, security specialists, and solution teams, as well as with the partners ecosystem

Influence the development of offerings and go‑to‑market strategies for targeted sectors.

Act as the internal voice of the customer and steer prioritization.

Provide accurate forecasting, risk management, and reporting.

Profile
Experience & Background

Proven track record in either: public administration (federal/cantonal/municipal), transport authorities and operators, or international organizations / NGOs is a strong plus

7–12 years of experience in key account management or enterprise sales.

Demonstrated success managing high-stakes, long-cycle deals.

Experience closing multi‑year transformation programs.

Skills

Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

Strong executive presence and ability to operate at C‑Suite level.

Ability to manage complex governance and multi‑stakeholder ecosystems.

Strong understanding of IT services and solutions in line with ELCA services and products portfolio.

Comfort with ambiguity, resilience in long cycles, and long‑term relationship building.

“Hunter‑farmer hybrid”: able to grow existing accounts and win new ones.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, IT, or Engineering).

English & French fluent is a must

German is a strong plus
