Chief Executive Officer (w/m/d) Ref. Z5C1Q4

We are looking for a commercially-driven senior leader based in the Zurich area, with proven C-level or senior sales leadership experience in complex B2B enterprise environments, to step into a CEO role and lead our client through its next phase of global expansion. A strong track record in building and scaling enterprise sales organizations within deep-tech or industrial settings is essential, combined with the ambition to take on full company-wide leadership responsibility.

Our client is a Switzerland-based deep-tech scale-up with an under-100-person global team, combining proprietary hardware, software, and data to deliver Asset and Trade Intelligence for the world's leading maritime freight and international railway operators. The company is positioned for rapid growth and global expansion, with multiple product launches planned for 2026 and ambitious targets for device adoption and recurring revenues.

To support the company's next growth phase, we are seeking an experienced CEO to lead our client's global commercial and strategic expansion from Zurich. The role is critical to scaling the business, building high-performing teams, and maximizing market impact across enterprise clients and industrial sectors .

Based in Zürich, Switzerland, with teams in the US and Germany, providing a central hub for leading global operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive global commercial growth: pipeline, strategic accounts, negotiation, and ARR-focused deals
* Build and lead high-performing Sales, BD, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
* Strengthen executive-level customer relationships and act as the senior commercial face
* Lead 2026 product launches: positioning, pricing, sales enablement, and market rollout
* Ensure operational excellence and a clear path to EBITDA-positive profitability
* Support fundraising and investor management; communicate strategy and traction
Candidate Profile
* Proven C-level sales leadership in complex B2B enterprise environments
* Track record in scaling digital, ARR-driven, and data-centric revenue models internationally
* Strong negotiation skills, executive presence, and ability to win and grow blue-chip accounts
* Hands-on operator mindset: prioritization, resource discipline, and end-to-end execution
* Customer-first, communicative, and emotionally intelligent leadership style
* Demanding but fair; creates accountability and clarity across teams
* Experience in deep-tech/industrial sectors (IoT, software, hardware, data analytics)
* English (C2/native) required; German and other languages a plus
* Strong industry network across maritime freight and international railway operators preferred
