Role, function and supervisor
* CTO/VP SW & HW
* Reports to: an Executive Board member
Main responsibilities and focus
* Lead a team of 30 software and hardware engineers
* Optimise development processes and organisation
* Coaching and development of employees
* Position the department as an efficient and reliable partner for internal and external customers
* Strategy and implementation responsibility for SW & HW development
* Expand internal and external collaborations with a focus on digitalisation
* Participate in cross‑functional review boards
Requirements profile
* Experience in leading teams across multiple hierarchical levels
* At least 5 years of software engineering experience in industry
* Solid engineering education (e.g. medical, electronics, mechanical, IT, software or mathematics) with appropriate degree, proven track record
* Experience in outsourcing, nearshoring or offshoring
* Fluent in German and English, any other language an advantage
