These may include but are not limited to sustainable and blue-green infrastructure projects and Nature-based Solutions.
The role requires a professional with strong understanding of municipal and regional budgeting and financing mechanisms who can deliver targeted support and build capacity for local stakeholders navigating complex policy and funding environments, both in an urban and rural context. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Liaising with key partners to ensure all efforts are aligned and that the project achieves its objectives.
* Working with municipal partners to develop tailored financing support (ranging from capacity building to development of investment plans) in urban as well as rural environments.
* Managing the project budget, timeline and reporting.
* Developing and implementing capacity building activities.
* Writing the project deliverables, summaries, and reports.
* Coordinating meetings and events with selected partners.
You meet the following professional criteria:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* An advanced university degree in a related field (at least BA, MA preferred): e.g. economics & business, finance, project management, sustainable development, or other relevant fields.
* Excellent oral and written English (C1).
* At least 6 years of relevant professional experience with at least 4 years in public infrastructure planning and development, ideally working on climate adaptation solutions in a municipal and / or regional authority.

* Knowledge of Nature-based Solutions, including their application in water management, wildfire mitigation, urban greening, and sustainable agriculture, is highly valued.
Our ideal candidate has the following personal attributes:
* Proactive, efficient and results-oriented.
* Open-minded personality and positive attitude.
* Team player.
