This position is located in Preclinical Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (pCMC), a department within the small molecule research organization in pRED Therapeutic Modalities, where we pave, in a diverse, ambitious and innovative environment, the path to bring drugcandidates from early research into development.### The Opportunity### As an Intern in our team your main tasks will include:* Execute and support the optimization of screening assays using liquid handling systems to accelerate the pre-formulation pipeline.* Perform "head-to-head" manual assays at the bench to compare, validate, and troubleshoot results against automated processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy.* Interpret complex datasets to provide recommendations on process improvements and formulation viability.### Who You Are### * You are a meticulous and independent experimentalist who enjoys troubleshooting* You hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or Automation with lab experience, degree completed no more than 12 months prior to the internship start date* You have proven experience operating liquid handlers (ideally Tecan/Fluent/Freedom EVO).* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.### ### Additional Information* **Desired Start Date:** October 1, 2026 (Negotiable)* **Workload:** 100%* **Duration:** 12 months* **Note:** This internship is **not** suitable for a Master’s or PhD thesis.### ### Application ProcessTo be considered for this position, please upload the following documents:* Current CV* Cover Letter* Copy of Diplomas**Requirements for Non-EU/EFTA Citizens:** due to Swiss regulations, the following documents are mandatory for your application:* Proof of Enrollment: You must remain officially enrolled at your university for the entire duration of the internship.* Mandatory Internship Letter: An official document from your university confirming that the internship is a required part of your curriculum.Have we piqued your interest?
