Avaloq Lead Consultant
Job Summary
The Lead Consultant will be responsible for overseeing and managing ACP processes, Avaloq system, and product management/extension/release management. The role involves optimizing Avaloq functions, maintaining Avaloq systems, and managing product development, extensions, and release processes effectively. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver high‑quality banking solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications within the Avaloq platform
* Configure, customize, and implement Avaloq modules (e.g., core banking, payments, regulatory reporting, wealth management)
* Perform Avaloq parameterization and scripting (e.g., Avaloq Script, ADL)
* Support system integration with internal and external applications
* Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and releases
* Conduct testing (unit testing, SIT, UAT) and ensure solution quality
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, defects, and user queries
* Collaborate with business users to improve system functionality and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements
* Document configurations, processes, and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
* Proven experience working with Avaloq Core Banking System
* Strong knowledge of Avaloq modules (e.g., wealth management, CRM, payments, accounting)
* Hands‑on experience with Avaloq Script, SQL, PL/SQL, or similar technologies
* Understanding of banking processes (wealth management, retail, or private banking)
* Experience in system integration and API‑based architectures
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work in agile or hybrid project environments
Preferred Qualifications
* Avaloq certification(s)
* Experience in Avaloq upgrades or migration projects
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FATCA, CRS, MiFID II)
* Experience working in international banking environments
* Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and optimize accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
2. Oversee and maintain the avaloq system, ensuring its smooth operation and making necessary enhancements.
3. Lead product management activities, including development, extension, and release management.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement best practices in accounts payable, avaloq system management, and product lifecycle management.
5. Conduct regular reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, principles, and best practices.
2. Proficiency in working with avaloq system and experience in system maintenance and enhancements.
3. Knowledge of product management principles, including development, extensions, and release management.
4. Excellent analytical skills to review data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders effectively.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in ACP (Accounts Payable), Avaloq, or Product Management would be a plus.
Additional requirement:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Securities Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Avaloq and a deep understanding of various securities operations topics, including STEX, SETTLE, SECEVT, Transaction Reporting, and Reconciliation.
