Responsibilities
* The ROC Connectivity Engineer is responsible for the initial phase of a performance-based contract for connecting systems in an ecosystem with customers and suppliers.
* During this time, he is involved in testing and commissioning our machines and designs future operations.
* He is responsible for PrimeServ Assist customers and he is monitoring the compressor plants in Everllence CEON (Monitoring System).
* Thanks to his knowledge he is actively developing the digitalization in PrimeServ.
* Implementation of CEON in the ecosystem of the operation alliance
* Supports testing and commissioning in order to prepare for the operational phase and develop cooperation with the customer (proof of concept)
* Continuous monitoring of plants covered in a PrimeServ Assist contract based on the operating data made available via CEON
* Technical consulting for all operating issues of the monitored plants
* Generating monthly / yearly reports and looking after the customer by using the Remote Operation Center (ROC) ZRH.
* Coordination of the monitoring on-boarding process once the Remote Monitoring Contract are signed.
* If necessary troubleshooting at customer site. Coordination of detailed root cause analysis with all involved parties like laboratory, R&D departments and third party consulting.
* Active role in the hotline service (Techline)
Qualifications
* Master degree in mechanical engineering with strong IT skills.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in calculation and or design and or erection of Turbomachinery, Rotating Equipment and sub systems.
* Knowledge of technologies related to IoT, physical connectivity (Switching, Routing, Firewall), protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.), data storage and management.
* Inner drive and self-motivation
* If possible with IT Security Knowledge
* Very good coordination, organization and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment
* Establish good internal / external collaboration with other departments
