In this challenging role, your key responsibilities are the following:
1. Initiate, collaborate, and advise global mobile network operators on their customized roll-outs.
2. Consulting for internal and external customers regarding electrical and fiber optic dimensioning of mobile network cells/towers.
3. Transfer market- or customer demands into specifications for new products and services.
4. Initiate, collaborate, and monitor product development initiatives.
5. Carry out market research and competitor analyses independently and convert them into business cases.
6. Initiate product developments, develop the product offering, and carry out the worldwide product launches.
7. You are responsible for the product life cycle of the product range assigned to you to ensure the required efficacy and efficiency of the portfolio.
8. In close collaboration with market management, lead product-focused sales promotion initiatives in sales organizations, at customer sites, and exhibitions.
Your profile
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Product Manager to lead the further development and management of our hybrid/power (fiber optic and/or power) products for mobile networks and cellphone tower applications.
Furthermore, we are looking for the following profile:
* Technical background and education in business management (advanced technical college or university), ideally electrical engineering.
* Electrical know-how for the dimensioning of power lines for mobile radio towers preferred.
* Professional experience as a Product Manager.
* Knowledge of fiber optics and mobile network applications is desirable.
* Good communication skills, self-disciplined, and structured.
* Strong "can-do" attitude.
* Willingness to travel abroad (up to 10% of working time).
