Are you ready for a new challenge? You are an Indirect Tax professional with experience in consulting national and international clients on International and Swiss Indirect Tax matters. Our Indirect Tax team offers advice on all Indirect Tax matters including VAT, Customs, ESG Taxes and Tax Technology.
Your contribution to KPMG
Advising clients on a wide range of international Indirect Tax matters as well as Swiss Indirect Tax matters
Handling the Swiss VAT compliance of various clients
Working closely with other team members on research on various Indirect Tax topics and contributing to complex advisory mandates
Preparing and updating presentations, workshops, and reports on national and international Indirect Tax topics
Working closely with other team members on project work, including tax restructuring and optimization, cross-border transactions, supply chain management, and process consulting (e.g. VAT in ERP reviews / implementations)
Dealing with VAT audits and assisting with tax due diligence work
Close cooperation with other internal departments e.g. Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Audit, Advisory, and Legal
This is what makes you successful
University degree in Law and/or Economics, completed with a qualification in tax or advanced training in Tax, in particular, in national and/or international VAT
Strong International Indirect Tax technical skills and willingness to further develop those skills. Customs and Excise knowledge would be an asset
Minimum 3 years of experience required within either a Big 4 firm, professional services firm, or a Law firm, especially in managing national and/or international VAT projects
Specific IT knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Oracle, JDE would be an asset
Fluent in French and English is a must
Extensive communication and time management skills (multi-tasking)
