Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Digital Product Owner located in Switzerland to work with engineering units in Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland on hydronic circuits. Your first primary responsibility is to actively contribute to the development of our connected hydronic range.
Key Responsibilities
* Work on the development of embedded web apps and mobile apps for configuration of industrial connected devices.
* Collaborate as part of the electronics and software team in Belgium and with the mechanical R&D team in Slovenia.
* Translate product roadmap into well‑defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria.
* Model hydronic systems to run simulations of new features before implementation.
* Prioritise and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing stakeholder requirements.
* Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they are understood by the development team.
* Refine product functional design based on customer, technology and hydronics expertise, and work closely with mechanical R&D to ensure integration.
* Mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release or sprint goals.
* Document implementations and participate in team knowledge transfer.
* Maintain a technological watch to propose relevant and innovative evolutions.
What We Are Looking For
* Master’s degree in mechanical or control and automation engineering is required.
* Background in product development with a broad vision of embedded electronics and software.
* Balance of digital knowledge, hydronic expertise and business value around features and functions.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.
* Willingness to work across all parts of the digital ecosystem (embedded software, cloud, iOS/Android, industrial communication protocols).
* High level of organization, initiative and personal accountability.
* Good knowledge of Agile processes and principles, Git, embedded software development, cloud and databases.
* Good practical knowledge of English is mandatory; proficiency in French is a plus.
* Motivated, eager to learn, flexible and collaborative.
* Ability to travel to R&D offices in Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland, and manufacturing in Poland.
