About This Role:
As a Senior Materials Handler II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of GMP warehouse operations within the site supply chain team. You will oversee the receipt, storage, preparation, and shipment of goods, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards. This position involves managing both GMP and non-GMP receipts and shipments while maintaining accurate documentation in Oracle (OPM). Collaborating closely with teams such as QC, QA, LSM, Planning/Procurement, and Shipping, your work will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of manufacturing operations and the timely delivery of quality materials. By prioritizing safety and efficiency, you will support the company's mission of delivering excellence in supply chain management.
What You'll Do:
* Receive GMP items, verify details against purchase orders, and label them accurately in accordance with specifications.
* Prepare shipments, including binding, stretching, picking, and safely operating powered industrial trucks, while maintaining compliance with SOPs and guidelines.
* Generate and manage shipping documents, such as bills of lading, as required.
* Conduct warehouse activities, including cycle counts and inventory management, while maintaining high organizational standards.
* Provide guidance to shift teams in the absence of the Coordinator or Warehouse Lead.
* Support goods preparation for manufacturing, QC sampling requests, and other departmental needs, performing necessary transactions.
* Offer first-level support for automation systems such as AGVs and Swisslog Systems.
* Ensure completion of all required departmental and GXP trainings.
* Process Drug Substance receipts from manufacturing with attention to reconciliation.
* Investigate and resolve warehouse operations issues, supporting documentation updates and workflow initiation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, performing daily safety checks and reporting hazards or incidents.
* Stay current on DOT and Hazmat regulations (IATA, ADR) to ensure compliance.
* Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Required Skills:
* High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of GMP experience.
* Forklift license and proficient forklift driving skills.
* ADR/IATA license and knowledge of hazardous materials regulations.
* Completed apprenticeship in warehouse/logistics or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and compliance standards.
* Proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Oracle (OPM).
* Ability to operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with automation systems such as AGVs and Swisslog Systems.
* Familiarity with DOT regulations and international shipping standards.
* Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role within a warehouse environment.
