As a Supervisor - Inspection GTF, you will be assigned to the New Engines organization, acting as Supervisor within the engine shop operational organization taking care of the Module and piece part inspection of GTF engines. You will ensure that the organization and processes meet all operation requirements (KPIs) in accordance with the engine services operational schedule and OEM/regulatory guidelines.
Your tasks
* Guarantee for all employees a workplace that meets all Safety, Health and Environmental rules, regulations, and requirements
* Guarantee quality of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and airworthiness, authorities’ rules/regulations always
* Assuring an optimized staff allocation to the events and a high production grade
* Instruct staff about any quality deviation, verbal reviews, occurrences, audit findings and customer complaints and take measures if required
* Assign employees to their jobs and maintain vacation planning in accordance with engine planning and monitor labor efficiency
* Organize support across SR Technics departments to assure performance as well tools, equipment and work documentation
* Actively manage human resources to ensure availability of skills to always meet demand
* Focus on training and development needs for employees and department
* Execute and promote Continuous Improvements in applying Lean principles to achieve the organization targets
* Manage and improve related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPI)
* Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow up with all employees
* Apply performance management process (PMP) and provide leadership with a focus on employee motivation
Your Profile
* 4 Years technical apprenticeship
* Education: Technical education
* Operational & managerial experience in the aviation industry
* Proven ability to provide effective management of allocated manpower and resources
* Proven ability to communicate issues to management, with suggested solutions
* Demonstrate working knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures to the required level
* Good command of verbal and written English level C1
* Proficient in MS Office
* Positive attitude and solutions orientated
* High degree of customer focus, both internal and external
* Demonstrate good communication and team orientated working with an ability to manage
* Proven ability to work under pressure
* Readiness for two shift works
