Global Sales & Service Leader
You’re main responsibilities
* Overseeing and implementing the Critical Power business line
* Commercial strategy (sales, tendering, project execution and services) in the relevant countries and evaluating market opportunities and deploying appropriate actions in alignment with Business Line’s objectives.
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders (channels, end-users, consultants, suppliers) to ensure commercial success and improve customer satisfaction in the relevant countries. Additionally, working closely with relevant Business Line functions (Project Management, Services, Operations) to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring pre-sales, tendering, system engineering and product marketing functions are properly staffed and aligned with Business Line requirements across country.
* Delivering projects on schedule, quality, and cost and in alignment with ABB’s project management frameworks as well as managing after-sales support and overall service business in the region in alignment with Business Line objectives.
Your background
* Postgraduate degree or above, in Business or Engineering field. MBA preferred.
* 15+ years of experience in UPS industry or Data Center Industry. Furthermore, wide network across data center and semiconductor industry as well as IT channels.
* Solid influencing skills working across functions, geography, and segments as well as experience in managing large local/regional high-performance organizations and implementing change in a matrix organization.
* Familiar with tendering, commissioning and project management processes.
* Previous experience in electric (High, Medium Low Voltage Products and Systems) and automation industry, therefore, familiar with tendering, commissioning and project management processes.
* Understanding of mission critical segments: Data Center, Semiconductor, Infrastructure, Utility, Knowledge of the industry, local governmental requirements, today’s global market conditions, full awareness of the sales function technicalities/methodologies, usage of SAP and other modern day smart tools, and how to use them to serve business and customer requirements.
* Fluent written and oral communications in English and German as well as willingness to travel 25%.
