Joining a small and international platform team of nine Product Managers, the Product Manager collaborates with Business Stakeholders (Product Owner) to create the Product vision and roadmap.
The Product Manager is responsible for the Product Backlog according to the priorities given by the Product Owner and is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle and release planning of the Product.
The Product Manager ensures stakeholder needs and expectations are met. Responsibilities include:
1. Being accountable for the complete lifecycle of the Products, including delivery, operations, and release planning.
2. Establishing and maintaining trust with Business Stakeholders.
3. Creating and agreeing on a long-term product vision, roadmap, and strategy with Business Stakeholders.
4. Building and maintaining product awareness and coordinating the product roadmap across products.
5. Creating and maintaining the product backlog based on priorities set by Business Stakeholders.
6. Leading the backlog delivery ensuring continuous acceptance from the business.
7. Ensuring the product delivers a high-quality user experience.
8. Understanding product requirements and proposing innovative solutions.
9. Facilitating engagement and coordination of all IT and non-IT capabilities involved in the product lifecycle, such as IT Architecture, Security, Legal, Procurement, and Branding.
10. Driving and managing the product budget effectively throughout its lifecycle.
11. Identifying relevant risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
12. Planning and conducting regular Product Board meetings.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive, and has solid experience supporting network infrastructures in high-pressure environments. The required skills and experience include:
1. At least 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within IT.
2. Over 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in delivery or related areas.
3. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
4. A proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects within global, multicultural organizations.
5. A solid technical background with hands-on or understanding of software development/implementation.
6. Deep knowledge of delivery methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
7. Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and development teams.
8. Experience gathering requirements for web applications and translating them into user stories.
9. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
