Role Overview
As a Finance Manager TD&S you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of finance within Innovative Medicine and make a direct impact on patient outcomes while driving operational excellence. The Finance Manager for IMFT TD&S will play a key role in ensuring the strategic vision is successfully executed, in reshaping the finance function to deliver long-term, sustainable growth for the IM business, unlocking both financial and non-financial benefits.
Role Description
The Finance Manager for IMFT TD&S is a strategic and operational partner to the IMFT TD&S organization, enabling effective leadership, disciplined execution, and enterprise alignment.
The role serves as an integrator across strategy, portfolio execution, governance, and communications, ensuring IMFT TD&S priorities are translated into clear outcomes across a complex, matrixed environment.
You will be responsible for
1. Strategy & Execution Enablement
* Support shaping and operationalizing the IMFT TD&S strategy, priorities, and transformation roadmap
* Translate leadership intent into clear goals, milestones, and execution plans
* Track progress, risks, and dependencies across strategic initiatives
2. Leadership Team Effectiveness & Governance
* Drive a high‑performing IMFT TD&S Leadership Team operating model
* Own governance cadence (LT, extended LT, strategic reviews)
* Ensure clarity on decisions, actions, ownership, and follow‑through
* Improve consistency of ways of working across IMFT TD&S
3. Portfolio & Initiative Oversight
* Maintain an integrated view of IMFT TD&S initiatives, investments, and priorities
* Enable cross‑initiative alignment, prioritization, and transparency
* Partner with Finance and PMO on progress tracking and value delivery
* Support resolution of complex, cross‑functional issues
4. Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management
* Coordinate executive‑level materials (LT updates, read‑outs, leadership decks, talk tracks)
* Ensure consistent, clear messaging across IMFT TD&S and enterprise forums
* Act as a key interface between IMFT TD&S and enterprise stakeholders
5. Operating Model & Ways of Working
* Support evolution of the IMFT TD&S operating model and governance
* Drive clarity on roles, forums, decision rights, and escalation paths
* Promote disciplined execution, transparency, and accountability
* Enable effective meeting culture and leadership rhythm
6. Special Projects & Priority Topics
* Lead or support critical, time‑sensitive, or high‑complexity initiatives on behalf of the TD&S
* Provide structured problem‑solving on ambiguous or sensitive topics
* Act as a neutral thought partner and accelerator

Qualifications/Requirements
* Senior experience in technology, data, finance, strategy, transformation, or enterprise operations
* Strong understanding of IMFT / TD&S‑type portfolios and enterprise interfaces
* Exceptional structuring, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills
* Comfortable operating with ambiguity, complexity, and senior leaders
* High results orientation
