Key Responsibilities
Apply advanced full-stack development skills to create and maintain cutting-edge financial software solutions tailored to the unique requirements of our clients.
Utilize deep knowledge of finance, including regulations and IT trends, to ensure our software aligns with regulatory standards and enhances financial decision‑making.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including financial analysts, data scientists, UI/UX designers, to translate business requirements into modern software solutions.
Lead the design and architecture of financial systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, guidance, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field at the bachelor's or master's level.
At least five years of professional experience in full‑stack development, preferably in the financial sector or consulting.
Extensive hands‑on experience (5+ years) with Java, frameworks and libraries: Spring, Spring Boot, SOAP & REST web services, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, JUnit.
Strong knowledge of Java design patterns and principles such as Singleton, Factory, Observer, Dependency Injection/IoC, Interface Segregation Principle.
Familiarity with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud‑native services, containerization, and experience deploying Java applications in cloud environments.
Profound understanding of modern software architecture frameworks: microservices, serverless computing, containerization.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, iterative development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Consulting experience: ability to provide strategic guidance, solve complex technical challenges, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Proven problem‑solving and innovative thinking, aligning solutions with industry best practices.
Bilingual proficiency in German and English is mandatory; fluency in French is a plus.
