BOverview /bbr/br/pPM Group are now recruiting new for a Regional Health Safety Manager to join PM Group working for us in a Nationwide position. /ppAs the Regional Health Safety Manager you will be reporting directly into the Operations Manager with a functional report line into the Group Head of Health and Safety. /ppWorking with the Group Head of Health and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring full implementation of PM Group health and safety management arrangements across all Regional offices, construction projects and work locations. /ppThis is a role that offers a diverse and challenging portfolio of projects and clients to work with. We are focused on growing a sustainable business centred around our people, our clients and trade partners. /p br/b Responsibilities /bbr/br/pbJob Role and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: /b /pliLead the development of Health Safety Leadership Culture in the DACH /BENELUX Region. /liliImplement PM Group’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing policy in the Business Unit. /liliEnsure full compliance with local and national Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the project construction phase and PM Group offices. /liliDevelop project-specific health safety strategies, programmes and plans in partnership with Group Health and Safety /liliCo-ordinate construction health and safety programme elements addressing site access, security, project induction, first aid, welfare and emergency arrangements /liliCo-ordinate and manage on-site construction health and safety resources /liliCommunicate and co-ordinate the adoption of industry best practices in health and safety on all projects /liliEstablish a process of active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities /liliMonitor and report on health and safety performance and challenges using predefined leading and lagging health and safety performance indicators /liliInfluence employee work practices through dialogue, relationship building and behavioural safety coaching /liliReport to the Operations Manager and other forums on Health and Safety initiatives, objectives and performance /liliSupport projects throughout their lifecycle from proposal, through design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, handover and operational stages /liliProvide specialist health, safety and wellbeing advice to management and project teams /liliAssure legal / regulatory compliance with respect to latest occupational safety, health and welfare requirements for the business unit. /liliEnsure appropriate and effective emergency response, case management, incident investigation and reporting mechanisms are in place to facilitate learning from incidents (LFI) /liliQualified to support a future ISO 45001 certification process /liliThis is a very hands on role, where you'll also be responsible for carrying out duties of a site safety advisor when required. /li br/b Qualifications /bbr/br/liPrevious experience in a health and safety environment, recently graduated with a degree in Health and Safety Management, or studying towards a NEBOSH qualification /liliFluent German / Dutch / French and English is essential, additional languages are an advantage /liliMember of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent qualification would be an advantage. /liliKnowledge of design and construction health and safety principles with proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines. /liliGood verbal and written communication skills /liliGood IT skills, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint. /li
